1. GENERAL

1.1 What is HBS

HBS (Hotel Booking System) is a product of GME Technical Services Sdn Bhd, Malaysia.It is used by hotels who has, or do not have a website to accept online booking. The booking program and database are hosted in a high capacity server. But the booking form itself is published in the hotel’s website. Hotel administrators can manage all the online booking with administrator accounts.

1.2 How does HBS work?

HBS works the providing simple and effective Booking system for Hotels. Booking Form can be embedded in the Hotel Official website through HTML iframe. Guest can directly visit the Hotel Website, choose booking dates, and pay directly through Visa/Mastercard charge, Paypal, Skrill(Moneybookers), iPay88. Guest payments goes directly into the hotel’s account, not GME account (provider of HBS).

Registered Hotel of HBS can access our Administration panel to manage their room and room allocation.

2. HOTEL QUESTIONS

2.1 How much does it cost?

Custom online booking system = USD10,000 (Get it free from HBS)
Dedicated hosting (app and db servers) = USD800/month (Get it free from HBS)
Tech. maint. service (one manpower salary) = USD 1,000/month (Free from HBS)
All you need to pay is USD1 per booking.

2.2 How to register for a free account?

Yes, Hotel owners can use HBS online registration form that is found at http://hbs.gmetech.com/cn/frmHBSRegistration.asp.

2.3 Will HBS provide me more customers?

Hotels only gets the guest information when they check-in. Do you know that with online booking, the system also collect failed attempts, half of them containing guest contact information. These data are not provided by aggregators. If a hotel gets 10 online booking a day, guess how many failed attempts that the hotel can salvage by calling the failed attempts? The number is more than 10. This means the hotel can increase online booking more than 100% if they have access to this data.

Further to this, systems can also capture visitors info, recognize that the visitor is a new or existing customer. Special offer can be provided. Guest online behaviour can be captured. Visitor’s analytics help the hotels improve their conversion rate. Without this analytics, there is no measuring system to do any improvements.

2.4 I do not have a domain name yet. Can I use HBS?

Yes, We provide HBS On-site booking, it means that you can choose from our list of in-house standard booking website and start accepting Guest booking.

2.5 I have a domain name but I do not have a website yet. Can I use HBS?

Yes, We can assist you in registering your desired Domain name for your Hotel.

2.6 I have my own website. How can I use HBS?

Yes, To start using our HBS, Hotel owners can use HBS online registration form that is found at http://hbs.gmetech.com/cn/frmHBSRegistration.asp.

2.7 My website is still under construction. Can I use HBS?

Yes, You can start registering your website and setup the Hotel settings while waiting for the construction of your website.

2.8 I am using Facebook Pages as my hotel site. Can I use HBS?

Yes, We provide iFrame code that you can embed in your facebook page and start accepting online bookings.

2.9 How does HBS collect booking payments?

Appointed HBS Master Affiliate will send invoice to the hotel between the 1st and 3rd day of every month. The hotel has to make payment to the payee bank account, or pay via Paypal invoice link (provided in the invoice), before 15th of every month. Failure to make payment may result in suspension of service.

2.10 I have a PayPal account, can the payments directly go into my PayPal account?

2.11 I have a credit card terminal, how do I charge the customer when they make bookings?

Yes, please refer to item 2.9。

2.12 What is a Booking Voucher?

2.17 How to pay GME (USD$1.00 per booking)?

All you need to pay is USD1 per booking.

2.18 How many bookings can I accept?

You can accept unlimited bookings.

2.19 How many administrator accounts can I create?

We can provide you with 5 administrator account to manage your hotel booking.

2.20 How to view online bookings?

2.22 How to register agents?

Agents are hotel's appointed sales representatives. These agents can be registered by the hotel admin using the Agent functions in the HBS Admin Site.

2.23 How to request for support?

2.24 Where is my data stored?

The booking program and database are hosted in a high capacity server.

2.25 Is my customer database shared with other hotels or marketing companies?

Customer database are not shared.

3. AFFILIATE QUESTIONS

3.1 What is an Affiliate?

HBS Affiliate is an individual or corporate who introduces HBS service to the hotel. The affiliates have to sign the HBS Affiliate Agreement to become an affiliate. Affiliate do not collect any fees on behalf of HBS. And Affiliate do not deliver any services on behalf of HBS. An affiliate purely refer the hotel to use HBS service. Hotels are considered to be referred by an affiliate only if the hotel fills the affiliate ID or affiliate name in the Hotel Registration form online.

3.2 How to make money as an Affiliate?

Affiliate gets 30% of the fees collected from the hotel booking fees, which is USD1.00 per booking. This is a pure passive income. The affiliate do not need to meet any condition to receive this income indefinitely, unless the hotel stop using HBS for one month. New affiliates only benefits from the top 20 hotels that the referred. When an affiliate has been actively referring hotels for more than 6 months continuously, then the limit (20) is increased accordingly.

3.3 When do I get paid?

Affiliates are paid on 15th to 18th of every month. Depending on the bank and payment method, the money may take a few days can be received by the affiliate's preferred bank account.
